It was 6 weeks ago when we began the second semester.
Throughout this course of 6 weeks, they were things that happened that was worth remembering. Such was the movie screening of " Taare Zameen Par", every child is special, by miss heng and the tons of work I had to do!
Starting with the movie screening, I was glad that Miss heng showed us the movie as I was able to relax and get to experience a type of movie which was a far cry from typical hollywood movie of fast racing cars and unrealistic fightings. Taare Zameen Par is a movie that shows us about a child suffering from dyslexia. These children has problems recognising words and numbers as to them, the words would be dancing and swimming. But on the brighter side, these children are artistcally talented and are able to paint and draw pictures that would be worth thousands! With the rising number of dyslexic students in school, i felt that this film was necessary, not to ridicule these students but to help their friends better understand them and to help them.
Ever since school term started, work to be done started piling and no matter how much time I spent trying to complete my work, it seem to be everlasting. One such example and torturous Design and Technology product making! My june holidays were packed with dance practices and I hardly found the time for myself. Thus i had to complete my product only when school starts. Revision of the upcoming test had to be done and the making of my product had to be also done. How terrific! No matter what I do, the ending would still be far away. But even though everything is still incomplete, i continued to sleep at 10pm. Having 8zzz+8w+2f+2v everyday, as recommended by miss heng. It was only weeks later when i found myself completing what i needed to . But blood + sweat = success and i would need to try my best and wrok hard if i ever want to succeed in life.
